My name is Kelcy Kraus and I am a junior at Penn State Behrend. I am a marketing major and communications minor originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. In my years at Behrend I have gotten involved a lot on campus. I am a member of Alpha Sigma Tau where I am the Illuminate class facilitator and the New member educator, a member of the Lion Ambassadors where I am the social chair, involved in THON where I served on the family relations committee, the Student Government Association where I represented the Panhellenic community, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am working to earn two certificates, one in Social Media which I have achieved this year and one in Advertising which I will have completed next school year. I have three more semesters left at Behrend then I plan on finding a marketing job located in the city of Pittsburgh.

Three strengths of mine are my dedication to everything I do, my ability to time manage and juggle a lot of things, and my positive outlook on life and all situations. As a very involved student on campus I have learned to time manage to make sure everything gets done and I still maintain good grades. I also am a very hard worker and make sure whether it is homework or planning an event that I give 110% into everything I do. Lastly I am know for always having a smile and always looking on the bright side to things, even if they don’t work out in my favor. I am one who learns from her mistakes to be able to better myself in the future which I think is a great quality in a worker.
